As my journey starts on 10th May 2011, from Paro aiport to New Delhi. It took 2 hour 45 minutes to reach New Delhi. I stayed 5 nights with my Bhutanese friend, the trainee of the hospitality management in New Delhi.
On 16th May, it was my first international flight. I was too excited. my flight was via Helsinki to Stuttgart.I came across with the lots of people while travelling and we had a good conversations about the exchange program along with the Gross National Happiness with the community of Schömberg and also the week of happiness. It took 6 hour to reach Helsinki. From Helsinki it took 2 hour 50 minutes to reach Stuttgart airport. I was welcomed by Mr. Till Weigl and Mrs. Freimuller. It took 1 hour drive from the airport to reach `Schömberg the only community of happiness´ with the beautiful landscape situated, surrounding with the forest, beautiful flowers and refreshing air around. The next day when i cross around the community, i felt like in Bhutan with the similar climate around.
The next day.. i went to one of the school with my host daughter caroline. I came across with many students. They are very humble. I had attended one of the classes and come to know the education system in the community. The next day i was interview by one of the journalist Mrs. Zieglwalne from Schwaszwaldes talking about the Bhutan, about the exchange programs between the Schömberg and Bhutan with the concept of Happiness and also the my favorite games and sports etc. The links for the Schwaszwaldes www.schwarzwaelder-bote.de/inhalt.schoemberg-junger-bhutaner-uebt-sich-im-biathlon.a86d0cc3-d493-4f1f-8004-af660c95103a.html
The next day i went to participate one of the German game called Biathlon the training part of the winter sports club in Schömberg. So i came across with the participant and also interacted with kids. It was really interesting for me to participate the game. The day after i went to Leiter Touristik & Kur office and Mr. Till Weigl introduced in all areas of management, shows how Schömberg involved on the citizen survey the residents in the development of the concept of happiness.
Later we just went to see the park around the community, the health care center, the spa. It was really interesting day.
On Sunday i went to watch the football match with my host friends in Schwarzenberg which is my favorite game too. It was a local football match and it was really interesting to watch. Hope i will get to watch the German football team one day. So i came across with many people and i had talked with them about the concept of happiness along with week of happiness in the community.
The next week begins....on Monday i went to play volleyball with Mrs. Friemuller friend to Bieselsberg. It was interesting game with them and we played 8 match. After the match we drank lime beer, which is famous in Germany.
So it was an fortunate to visit Schömberg and lots to experience different activities around the communities. And to learn more German language.
